Terms and Conditions

This website is operated by EthicEyes Limited.

In these terms, “Ethic Eyes”, “we”, “us” and “our” means EthicEyes Limited.

These Terms and Conditions explain the terms on which you may use this website.

By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

EthicEyes Limited is a company registered in England and Wales.

  • Company number: 11517662
  • Registered office: 1 Manor Court, 6 Barnes Wallis Road, Fareham, Hampshire, England, PO15 5TH

1. About this website

EthicEyes Limited provides information about leadership development, team development, organisational development, change support, senior selection, assessment, coaching, diagnostics, articles and related services delivered through Andrew Porteous and associated materials.

2. Website content

Website content is provided for general information only. It is not a substitute for professional advice tailored to an organisation, leadership context, team, appointment decision or change situation.

Ethic Eyes aims to keep information accurate and up to date but does not guarantee that all website content will always be complete, current or error-free.

3. Diagnostic tools

The website includes diagnostic tools, questionnaires and reflection tools.

These tools are designed to support reflection and discussion. They are not formal psychological assessments, clinical tools, legal advice, employment advice or a complete assessment of an individual, team or organisation.

Diagnostic results should not be used as the sole basis for:

  • hiring or promotion decisions;
  • disciplinary decisions;
  • redundancy or restructuring decisions;
  • employment decisions;
  • legal claims;
  • medical, psychological or wellbeing decisions;
  • significant organisational decisions without further professional judgement.

Diagnostic outputs should be interpreted in context and, where appropriate, discussed with a qualified professional.

4. Downloadable resources

The website may provide downloadable resources, including PDF overviews, articles, frameworks or diagnostic outputs.

These resources are provided for general information and reflection.

Visitors may download and use them for their own internal reference, but must not:

  • sell them;
  • republish them as their own;
  • remove branding or copyright notices;
  • reproduce substantial parts publicly without permission;
  • use them to create competing commercial materials;
  • deliver them to clients or third parties as part of a consultancy, coaching, training or advisory service without our written permission;
  • incorporate them into another commercial product or service without our written permission.

Completing a diagnostic for yourself, using it within your own organisation, and sharing or discussing your report internally with colleagues, your team or your HR and L&D function are all permitted.

Permission for wider or commercial use can be requested through the contact form; we are happy to discuss appropriate licensing arrangements.

5. Enquiries and contact forms

If someone submits an enquiry, they agree to provide accurate information.

Submitting an enquiry does not create a client relationship, contract, partnership, employment relationship or obligation for EthicEyes Limited to provide services.

A working relationship or assignment begins only when terms have been discussed and agreed separately.

6. Services and client work

Any consultancy, coaching, assessment, facilitation, leadership development, team development, change support or senior selection work will be subject to separate written agreement.

That agreement may cover scope, fees, timing, confidentiality, cancellation terms, responsibilities, deliverables and any other relevant terms.

If there is a conflict between these website terms and a signed client agreement, the signed client agreement takes precedence for that assignment.

7. No guarantee of outcomes

Ethic Eyes aims to provide thoughtful, practical and evidence-informed work.

However, organisational outcomes depend on many factors outside our control, including leadership commitment, organisational context, culture, implementation, timing, resources and participant engagement.

Ethic Eyes does not guarantee any specific commercial, behavioural, leadership, cultural, recruitment, change or performance outcome from using the website, completing a diagnostic, downloading a resource or engaging with general website content.

8. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, all content on this website belongs to EthicEyes Limited or is used with permission.

This includes text, frameworks, diagnostic tools, articles, resources, graphics, downloads, page designs, logos and other materials.

Visitors may view, download and print website content for personal or internal business reference.

They must not copy, adapt, reproduce, distribute, publish, sell or commercially exploit website content without prior written permission.

11. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EthicEyes Limited will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from:

  • use of, or inability to use, the website;
  • reliance on website content;
  • use of diagnostic tools or downloadable resources;
  • technical errors, interruptions or website unavailability;
